Since 1988, Greg Stark has provided leadership to an association of the investor-owned electric utilities in Texas operated by Texas A&M University. The Council's mission is to assist the member companies with employee and customer training, provide technical assistance to the members and serve as a liaison between the industry and Texas A&M University. Greg is also a Lecturer in the Texas A&M Agricultural Engineering Department. Prior to his present position, he was a research engineer working cooperatively with the US Department of Agriculture and the University of Nebraska assisting power suppliers in the Midwest US with forecasting rural electrical power demands, implementation of demand side management programs, and power quality problems. Greg also operates a part-time consulting practice providing educational training and expert witness services related to electrical energy use in agriculture, agricultural electrical accidents and stray voltage in livestock facilities. He received both a B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Nebraska and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas. Greg has authored or co-authored over 40 technical publications, papers, conference proceedings and monographs.
